What it is
In manual mode you build the paper section by section. Open the question picker, filter by chapter, topic, or question type, and add questions to the section you are working on. As you add them, the live preview grows — numbered, spaced, and styled by your template — and the marks totals update.
This is the mode for papers that matter most: mid-terms, send-ups, and finals, where you have specific questions in mind, want a deliberate difficulty curve, or need to make sure the exact wording matches what was taught.
The question picker
The picker is built for speed at scale. Instead of scrolling a flat list, you narrow by chapter and topic, see the question text (in both languages where available), and add with one click. Already-added questions are marked so you never place a duplicate.

Classroom example
A senior mathematics teacher setting the second-term exam wants the long questions to step up in difficulty: one routine exercise question, one applied problem, one from the miscellaneous exercise. Quick generation cannot know that intention — so he uses manual mode, filters the bank to each exercise in turn, and places the three questions deliberately, with an OR choice partner for each. The formatting, numbering, and the "(3 × 8 = 24)" marks formula are handled for him.
Common questions
Can I mix manual and automatic selection?
Yes. A common pattern is to quick-generate the objective section, then manually curate the subjective sections. You can also start from a quick draft and replace as many questions as you like.
Can I add my own questions?
Papers draw from the question bank, which is organised by class, subject, and chapter. If a question you need is missing, you can have it added to the bank so it is reusable in every future paper.
